We make several "Holiday Cookies", as well as gingerbread persons and a chocolate "Buche de Noel" (Yule Log). Please call to order desserts or cookie platters. We will be open through Wednesday, December 23, and ON CHRISTMAS EVE MORNING (to pick up orders only). We'll close for Christmas and re-open December 29-31. We will also close for a winter break from January 1-12, 2010.

Our gift items are packaged in clear cellophane bags, with an embossed gold label, and tied with a red organdy bow. Gingerbread Persons ($3.95) Exquisitely decorated cookie, with or without hanging ribbon. Doggie Treats ($4.50) Our hand made doggie treats, in a "paw print" cellophane bag (7 large or 25 small). Fruitcake ($22.50) Our fruitcakes are bathed in rum. Loaf size and full of cherries, citrus, raisins and nuts, they are truly special. STOLLEN ($12.95) Stollen is a bread-like cake traditionally made in Germany during the Christmas season. The shape of the cake was originally meant to represent the baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes. Ours is made with yeast, butter, flour, almond paste, candied citrus and cherries, almonds, and
spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon. It's been a holiday tradition in my family ever since I can remember. (Available from December 14).
